Ricardo Gauna

Ricardo joined Ryken & Associates in January 2022. He is qualified in both common and civil law systems. 

He gained his first law degree in 2011 from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC) (National University of Córdoba); one of Argentina’s most prestigious universities. He was awarded an acknowledgment as one of the top graduates of his class. Ricardo was admitted to the bar in 2012 and practiced law in Argentina for over two years. 

Ricardo decided to migrate to New Zealand to live with his Kiwi partner. He studied law again at the University of Auckland and obtained his LLB in 2021. Ricardo also worked as a Tutor at the Facult of Law at Auckland University.

Ricardo works closely with the principal David Ryken in complex matters, anin all spects of immgiration and refugee law and litigation.

Ricardo is fluent in both Spanish and English.
